The Debate thingy

So how do I get into these debate thingys? Do I just post and color my text to fit my selected side, or what? I'm specifically interested in the death penalty debate and I feel I have stuff to add to it, so I was wondering if it was a closed discussion or if I could just jump in.

John posted the link, you won't be able to participate in the current debate but you will be able to future debates. Also remember as the debaters have found out, you don't get to choose the side with which you must argue for, Theory? or myself do this when we open the debate.
