Free Membership?

I got this in the email, can anyone explain this? Also if this is real how do I claim it? I followed what the email said and it didnt work.

I'm sure this isn't real. The only thing that I know of was last year, when the renewal process was being corrected, and members got 1 month free.

1-year free membership? I doubt it, but I want confirmation.
