hey guys and gals,
we're a serious mod group soon to be games developer looking to expand our team with more dedicated 3d members. currently we have 30+ members including our own musicians, writers, voice actors, artists, programmers, designers, modellers etc.
in particular we need character modellers and riggers. ideally you'd be able to help now (as we have urgent need for a rigger) but if you're busy and can only join us fully/partially later that's fine too.

Redflame interactive has been developing a mod for the crpg "the witcher" for the last few months and it has recently been released to the public, you can download it yourself and see our work firsthand from our official site:

Strands of Destiny

(though to be honest you won't truly understand how good a job we've done of it until you use the toolset we worked with -__- )

We're also working on a few other mod projects for the witcher and developing our own ip on the side. in a few months time we have a major project planned which could take up to a year to complete.
so you can see we're a busy and hard working team, several members are almost fulltime. the reason being that we're very close to gettting funding, the probability of being funded is 100% but it may be a month or two before it happens. in the meantime everyone that works will have the hours they put into redflame recorded and compensated as a bonus to their wage once we start seeing the money.
currently the project is over the net as we have members from around the world but we do intend to get a core team into an office in florida eventually. Hopefully that's enough to show how serious we are but i could tell you so much more though i would be breaking my nda so i better not :P

anyway if you're interested drop me an email at mightyguard@hotmail.co.uk or gchentobor@witchermod.com with a link to your portfolio or attached zip file (or any other archive)

oh and don't be scared into thinking you don't have the talent yet, get in touch and let us decide for you. good luck people

I am looking to join a group that will put up with a "mascot"(or pet or dumb but insightful junior member) and teach me(or kill me with) code/image editing skills :P

Still looking for a forum that tries to help its lesser members not hide from themz :P

I need to brush up on my coding skills. I haven't done any actual modding (except for creating '3rd party programs' for various free-to-play MMOs) for quite some time. Zip, you got any projects your working on?

Ya the main one is getting wormbros extended radius code to work, I have the code set for it and the code to put into the fire mode to get self hurting radius damage on bullets but never was able to cut/paste the damn thing in right I tried many methods all failed.

Another thing is making a mutator code where I can select what weapons to run.

Hell I still have a hand full of ideas I have not gotten because I have to learn things a drip at a time.

Spent the past month or so learning how to do crap in PSP9

Mmm, are we talking UT3? Don't think my hardware will run it, but I'll try installing it and tweaking settings to be sure.

No UT3 is a mess so I am nawing on that bit by bit its jsut enough locked content and what not to make it annoying to mess with, UT04 is the main game I am working on, toying with previous U games as well.

Sweet. I haven't messed with UScript since UT99, but I have 04 on DVD somewhere, so I'll install it.

I really don't want to be associated with a large group of people, mainly because others coding styles irk me, and I spend more time refactoring and restructuring their code then writing my own. Just looking to help Zip out, and maybe learn in the process. Sorry we hijacked your thread, we'll be conversing with each other via PM from here on out.
