Used to be, Rules for the forum (super serious ones resulting in a ban) were posted in a sticky for that forum/sub-forum. Why not go back to that? Why all of a sudden are silly rules (IE: No negative mention of CAD, No need for Tenchi, etc) enforced by bannage instead of just edits?
Why is a forum with a dozen active posters all of a sudden being moderated like the official forum for the People's Republic of China?
I remember when one had to use the N word or constantly post in completely illedgible jibberish to be banned. Now you just have to criticize a web comic?
TL;DR: why so serious, ECAforums?

In Beemoh's defence, he did say that it was annoying him and you should stop, disregarding what a moderator said is the main reason the 48 hour cooloff time was enforced, it could have been about anything, but the mod was still disregarded.
All CAD discussion- positive, negative or even just references- take it to another forum altogether.

Ah yes, mods can make up rules. I'm gonna ask Hannah if she can make up some so I can have fun.
That comic is relevant because when we ask ourselves why the public perceives video gamers the way they do, we can point at it, it's creator and it's fanbase. These things embody a lot of what is wrong with the 'culture'. I ask you to remember a certain comic that was made to respond to Jack Thompson, and basically ended with a "we outnumber you, you will come to fear the shadows".
But seriously, you can't make up rules and especially not this one.

ahh, thats pretty much the same as we do KN, it is just more straight to the point in the comic,if you or anyone dislikes it, why not go to a forum where you can bash it secure in your thoughts about it with no one who will actually disagree with your comments, regardless of your opinion on CAD, talking about it doesn't belong here anymore, as Beem said, it is forum ruinously boring, so I am gonna stop talking about it now, but seriously, there is no actual gain to bashing anything, it just makes you look like a troll wearing a normal person's hat.

Yes, because acting like a dick about the comic in every thread is perfectly sensible and will make gaming immediately accepted as the Ultimate Choice Of Entertainment, as will comments like

Originally, it was edits. You, however, chose to ignore the rule immediately after explicitly being told, so you got a temporary ban.
More recently, you ignored it again in your Atlas Shrugged thread, now fully aware of the situation, and you recieved a longer temp ban.

that's fine. However, nobody here has actually done any criticism, (or at least, not for a long time) just posted up comics and said it was ****, or just randomly shoehorned references into totally unrelated threads. Stuff like
Hey, they're making a movie about a book I like!
Also, CAD is ****, lolol
To stop the forum from getting over-run by posts about Jack Thompson, we put it in its own thread. You were given the chance to do the same with CAD, and you chose not to take it, so you have lost the ability to discuss the comic here.

Mo_Freeman gets a permaban for being a ban evade, thefremen's temp ban still stands (For reference, the temp ban ends tomorrow at Midnight GMT) and the rule remains in force.
Everything else was explained in the original post. End of discussion.

KN, if you want to insult me, send it in a PM, rather have one person know you are being a 'something'-wad rather than the entire forum.
I appreciate your input, but more recently you have become little more than an annoyance in your postings, I would appreciate it if you were to curb the insults and resort to meaningful discussion.

We are British, we started this language so we damn well want to see it spoken, or written, properly!
