Currently in planning stages of ECA update of Chapter pages to include chapter Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Chapter Gmail email, and possible President bio, along with other features. A few other details updated by email sent to Presidents along with a request for those Chapter Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter accounts.
Working on ECA Chapter Handbook update to include city chapters, not just student chapters. Maybe even virtual chapters(as Hal has suggested). All to include more detailed information for presidents.
Changing ECA Game Nights to different days of the week that work for the Presidents. Saturday's don't always work since people are usually out. Maybe continue follow up with iGames (http://igames.org/) and see if they can help organize these with the Presidents, so they can become more familiar with hosting. Something along the lines of , "ECA Game Nights, presented by iGames" Co-hosted by ...whatever chapter president"
FOLLOW UP:
Add "EVENT" section to ECA forums so people can stay in contact and coordinate meet ups.
Have a comprehenisve ECA Member Usergroup on the forums so president's can easily locate possible local chapter members out of existing ECA Member base.
Make an ECA Chapter President usergroup with possible mod rights to pin, close, and move threads, at least in the ECA section.
See if local chapter presidents can serve as ECA Representatives at smaller local events instead of sending someone from out of state. Cost effective and helps generate more members for the local chapter. Gives something for the local chapter members to attend as representatives as well.
See if we can have legislation alert box added to the ECA Newsletters.
Also, find out if current action alerts send out emails when updates are available for legislation we are interested in.
