Here's some information on signing onto our Vent server for the monthly ECA Chapter President Meetings:
Lead By: Daniela Lao aka Gypsyfly PMS
ECA Chapter President Meeting: 6pm CST- The 2nd Sunday of EVERY MONTH!!
This will be an opportunity for chapter presidents to meet each other and update each other about members, chapter activity, ECA Game Night follow up as well as share ideas. If you cannot attend your Vice President or a trusted representative from your chapter can attend for you.
Step 1:
Please download Ventrilo and have a PC mic for the meeting. When you create your user name for Ventrilo, use your real name and add ECA to the beginning like ECADaniela. Click server and enter this sign-on info and hit "connect":
NOTE: We have a new Vent server
IP: ventrilo.pmsclan.com
Port: 27615
Password: No password needed
How to get on vent..
Go to this link to download vent....

Click the client version - Version 3.0.1
When it is done downloading .... Need to set up a user name... Click the arrow next to user name and click new and put in the name you would like to use..

Set up the server you are going to connect to..Click the arrow next to server and hit new... and put in the information below..

To make sure you mic works...go into setup ... and check your mic settings...sometimes it works better to set up a hot key... like the info below..

To turn off the voices of when people come and go.... go to setup and then events... and turn them off

Once you are in the room, please hit the "comment" button on the right side and add your chapter's name ie ECAManny(Orlando, FL ECA Chapter). Please remember to do this so we can easily find your information in our documents during the meeting.
If you do not have a PC and/or mic, Ventilo does have a chat function which can be used, but I STRONGLY encourage you to have a mic, especially if you have a lot to say and don't have fingers fast enough to type if all out.
I also HIGHLY recommend you download Ventrilo and test your mic BEFORE the meeting time as often times it needs to be set up and can take some time if you are not familiar with it. I will usually be there before the meeting time to help with any mic issues. If you have a mic and it is not working, please hit the "Chat" button and go into the chat room where we can assist with any issues.
