7/13/08 Chapter Meeting Notes

Ok, here are our meeting notes for those of you who did not make it. Please make sure if you are unble to atteand that you send a member in your place if possiable! :D

•Need 5 members in chapters minimum. Presidents to start recruiting out of existing ECA members and then can start more heavily on outside recruitment. Amber will follow up with Heather to see if possible to send message to city members. Chapter Presidents to make post on ECA forums to recruit members in area, and to send messages out on personal networking sites like face book. Daniela will post on PMS forums for current members to join chapters.

•Will add Chapter Meeting Area on ECA Forum to use for discussion of items and meeting agendas.

•Possible Tournaments for Members

•Chapter Newsletter or Blog with updates (Word Press-Matt Will Create)

•GA Chapter wants to stop government involvement Letter examples to congress, etc; Amber will research how to start Petition Drive. Possible examples of petitions on website or some other source??

•UT Arlington – NEW CHAPTER (PAUL), Jeff to pass over contact details.

•ECA Game Nights:
July 19th – Halo 3 - Richard
July 26th - UT3 -Matt
Aug 2nd Thomas – TF2 PC

Sorry I missed this meeting, but I haven't received any emails about anything since Thomas left. I have actually been waiting to here to see if anything is changing since Thomas left, as I had spoken with him on a few items regarding my chapter. I have a newer chapter, and am really hoping to get more involved in events and hoping to have a more So. Cal recruitment base, than just Ventura County.

Anyways, can you guys please send me the meeting info, and anything else that has been sent out since Thomas left, as again I haven't received any contact. Looking forward to hearing whats in store for us. Here is my email, in case you don't have it for some reason.

Any more information on the ECA Game night? Would love to be part of the TF2 gaming night coming up.

Sorry I missed this. Usually we get volunteers for that months game nights during the Chapter meetings. The next two games nights are on Xbox, until we get this more organized, but after that we'll do one on PC, if you're comfortable hosting on Xfire that's great, if not we may get a PMS PC leader to host while a few interested chapter members join and learn how to host on xfire. There's a little more to it than Xbox Live lol.
