I got a card from Gamestop that allows me to take part in the early play. My game came on friday, do I need to Dl the client of can I install the game and do the early play from it? And if I need to DL the client where can I go to DL it?

unfortunately, you're out of luck. the Early Access sold out last week.

Well I got an error message last night when I tried to start the game. It was unable to use a rendering subsystem. Asking on the Conan forums I found out that the game is not supported by the chipset that I currently have. So i get to take a little trip down to Frys either today or tomorrow and pick up a new video card.

For those of you lucky enough to be able to participate in the EA for AoC, what are your thoughts on the game so far?

it's been fun. i duoed with a friend (me Necro, him Guardian) and didn't have terribly much of a problem like that.

the destiny quest is cool and great for when you've got some solo-time.

i worked hard to make sure by tomorrow the guild was ready to invite everyone.
send a tell or in-game mail to Relthas tomorrow and meet me at the Tortage gate to get in on it. we need 24 members (and me level 40) before we can have a city, but that won't be hard.

As soon as I am able to go down and grab my video card I will be on. Planing on playing a Necromancer myself :D. I can't wait til level 40 :). I want my Mammoth!

Game goes live in 30 minuets :D. I got my video card today and thankfully it is able to run the game. Tested it on WoW to see how good the card was. Without the card I was getting 8 to 12fps, with the card I am getting 77fps in most areas. 30-65fps in shatt :). Soon my necromancer will be made. Hopefully the name is not taken, if not I will be playing under the name I always use in games Rhojin.

How would you describe the game play of a necromancer. If you had to compare it to another class from a different game, what would you compare it to?

After a few issues the game runs beautifully :D. There is a mod for anyone who hates how the hot bars look in game. http://forums.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=19979

I have a lot of free time this week at work due to all the higher ups going on week long vacations :D. I can start something up on guildlaunch or another site while I work on the main one. A friend is supposed to be giving me a full version of dreamweaver sometime soon, yes I'd rather hand code everything but I just don't have the time anymore to do that.
