When I try to post on the GP main site I get the message,
"The name you used belongs to a registered user."
So I am wondering what registration database was migrated over because it does not match any of my usual logins. I had at one time tried to join the ECA with this username, but didn't because I don't have the $$ to spare to join.
On a second thought, the CAPTCHA is very small for those with high resolutions and it is near impossible to tell if some letters are capitalized or not.

I too had problems with the CAPTCHA image tester. I had to try about a dozen times before it let me in, with crazy things that looked like > or ฬ.

Yes, the CAPTCHA is very difficult to see for me. I failed it three times before I could post.
Also, since I don't want to start a whole other thread for this:
- When I hit ENTER twice in the comment text block to make a new paragraph, the WYSIWYG editor inputs some 5 new lines automatically. It's quite annoying.
- When I want to preview my comment, I have to enter an entirely new CAPTCHA image. That or it could be that it found an error with my homepage entry (no 'http' included), I don't know.

I'm having the exact same problem, and when I got to register, it says the name is taken, and when I try to use password retrieval, I get nothing

I am really getting pissed off about my user name issue. I finally got the password to work once, but now it doesnt work again and when I ask for it to send me an email with my password I never receive it. This honestly is a (excuse my French) Pain in the ****ING ASS:
