I find myself pondering if Glenn Beck is worthy enough to earn a place on this wall of shame. Granted he did have his moments of drama a few nights ago after apparently being coached in what to say by jackie thomson. (Check the common page for those that missed it). Never have I heard such outright BS delivered in a way that was almost believable.

No I don't think so. This man is just a tv personality, he doesn't know anything, I would bet money on Jack Thompson knowing more about games than he does. He's trying to rile people up knowing what happens to Thompson and what happened to Lawrence Cooper, he wants ratings.

The man is a child who we should just ignore and on that note I would like to say he doesn't deserve a place on this wall of shame

I hope I'm not reviving a dead thread here but wow. To be honest, I used to like him. I agreed with him on some stances, but more and more I noticed his borderline fascist preference for capitalism. Y'know, to the extent where charity is accused of promoting communism?

I didn't see it live, but I saw the vid on YouTube. I was looking around wondering if Fox News was biting at the heel of GTA IV (to my surprise, no. Apparently they want to be carefully after the Mass Effect incident) but instead I found an 8 minute video of Glenn Beck on the game.

I don't know if it was the blatant thesis of "We are training our kids to be killers and our sons to treat women like whores" that tipped me of off possible insanity/bs or if it was the anecdote of military history of desensitizing soldiers to kill
(omg, the target is shaped like a human shadow, now they is blood thirty to kill dem krauts).

He was beginning to sound like LaRouche with the consideration of video games as military technology. I did love his statistic of firing accuracy over the years. Yes, the fact that video games did not go mainstream until the late 70's, the great advancement of weapons technology over the century, and the fact that training has greatly increased from quantity and quality has nothing to do to discredit the statement that soldier accuracy of shooting is based of brainwashing soldiers to become killers. That’s why war veterans don't suffer any post-trauma any more, their desensitized killers. Right?

Ah you have not attempted to rezz a dead thread as it never had much life (or a subject worth the effort). Beck is a poor excuse for a talking head. Depressing that there are those that would acutally beleive him simply because he is on the magic box.
