...which means that Penny Arcade gave us a mention. It happened in regard to our story the other day on Sen. Brownback's legislation that would force the ESRB to play every game all the way through:

It's not as bad as being slashdotted or digged. Then your site would be down. Instead we get a couple of new people commenting and a few new forum members.

I'm loving their Podcasts - they need to make more though.

A real Wang WOULD actually cause the site to go down completely. That usually only happens when Jerry posts a link followed by CHECKITOUTCHECKITOUTCHECKITOUT

Or when he instructs people to go somewhere to DO something.

I want that sort of power: to aim a laser at websites.

sounds like we're getting a little bit bigger as time goes by. VG Cats and Penny Arcade are frequented by quite a number of people. We may need to upgrade the server capacity one day to accomodate our growing popularity amoung the gaming community.

Let me prepare you for the worst-case scenario, so you know what kind of server you should get:

GP somehow starts Internet War II and Something Awful, YTMND, 4chan, Fark and the others once again unite to wreck havoc on the unsuspecting prey (this being us). This war is reported on Slashdot, Digg, and a billion other sites, which includes a link back to GP.

I think at this point the server rack we are on will start to burn.

I think the internet would implode if all those sites did anything to any site at the same time. There would be much burning of server racks.

Well.. it happened to eBaum's World.

But that's eBaum's World. It's like a cockroach. Cannot be exterminated. Ever.

Hey, doesn't Bickley from Ctrl+Alt+Delete frequent here? I remember seeing him (or someone like him) posting before the site went through reconstruction.

Not only did you get linked, you essentially inspired a comic. That's a feat.

Different guy. The CAD guy is Tim BUCKLEY.

Anybody remember when Penny Arcade linked the CNN website, and it crashed because of that? Yeah...good times. But we haven't been mentioned on Dr. McNinja, yet. The true test of fame...not really. It's just a good comic.
