Rant of the day...
I realized today that, if I'm going to get into a debate, this is my rule on when to stop debating. There are people that know they are trolls, and there are some that don't know they are acting like trolls. The latter try to make counterpoints but don't explain in detail. So I will treat them as trolls all the same.

I converted to 35 seperate religions to combat the argument that tends to bring debates to a screeching halt. "But is mai religion :3"

I can then argue that mine is obviously cooler.

Also don't debate on the internet get out lawl

So there be Trolls. This is commonly known and a given.

I find the arguement vaguely amusing though that there are trolls that know they are and take delight in it and those that have other intentions and are told they are trolls by the decision of another. The later of those is... questionable to be polite and bull**** to be blunt. Who gets to decide and worse yet to give other the power over them?

The worst part is the stupid questions they give you. Like "why don't you wear an American Flag lapel pin like a real American? Eh, Huissien?"

No, the arguments I'm talking about are where you spout a whole bunch of stuff to back your point. Then you get another counter-point which is just too short and raises more questions.

Example:

Them: The US set up 9/11.

Me: No, but they handled it poorly and anyways...blah blah...Osama hated our involvement with the Saudis...blah blah...etc.

Them: Those guys were actually working with the government.

Me (thinking): and...? That's it? You don't care to explain?

Here's my conspiracy theory:

Michael Moore is an agent of the powers that be (or people who wish to be the powers that be), who makes movies about issues said powers fear may cause the population to act against them. These movies then discredit these issues to such a degree that no one brings them up ever again.

Culture of fear? Real issue. The effect of Bowling for Columbine: never brought up again except by crazy people who took it as gospel.

Government's poor handling of 9/11? Real issue. Effect of Fahrenheit 9/11: Truthers. No one wishes to hold the government accountable for their spastic retard approach to the whole thing, and all mentions of "government + 9/11" automatically translate to "ZOOMJ GOVERNMENT DID 9/11".

Your incredibly ****ter healthcare? Real issue. Effect of Sicko: the widely held belief that universal healthcare will save us among democrats, and the reinforcement of the belief that nothing should change among republicans.

(protip: both are wrong. You need to fix your private healthcare system instead. Though considering how hard it is to **** up something as easy as private healthcare I wonder why we let you guys have nukes)

This is the truth because I say so.

PS: did Fahrenheit 9/11 actually have the Loose Change faggot in it? I forgot, but that would make it worse than I think it is already.

Because we were both the first to get how to do it AND still the only country to use them in anger?

I'm not sure if you are asking a sincere question but I have always believed that Americans don't have a "proper healthcare system" (I am assuming you mean universal health care) because to do so taxes would have to be raised, and most Americans are too tight fisted on their money to vote yes for anything that would raise taxes. That and our government doesn't often follow through with the promises that it makes.

There's nothing inherently wrong with the care end of things. It's why Canadians come here when they need help immediately.

At the same time, we do need to fix how those who can't afford insurance get help. Right now they either get a bill they can't afford or the hospital eats the bill.
