O.K. I'm debating this one guy over the studies showing violent games cause harm to minors, and I need a bit of help since he keeps throwing me studies I've never seen, but that I know are flawed. He insists the noise blast method is perfectly valid and that court precedent is only for state constitutions amongst other things.
If you could sign-up and help me out with the debate I would be much obliged.

Yes I know this seems desperate but who else am I going to ask?

You're on newgrounds. This means that somehow, you're both wrong.

well yeah I know all that but I thought you guys would help out since it appears as though you love to jump down the throats of anyone who disagrees
(and I personally LOVE debating people who resort to flames and name calling, it gives me an ego trip, which is why I debate on newgrounds, although occasionally you get people who have a semi-valid point).

I love a good debate, but I still have standards. There's only so much stupidity I can take ;)

So do I but sometimes you just want to go on safari for fools and jutjobs (and I've hit the jackpot but with a different site).
Oh well I wish I had a delete button for this post.

To be quite honest, I'd suggest staying the **ck away from Grammer.
I've read the reasearch he posted (assuming it's a he), and to be quite frank, I found even their used language to be biased. One study cited using a sample of 300+ kids for its test, which would be too small a population for any real results.
Besides - I think I've seen far more violence being caused by some dumb-ass arguments over professional sports. Tune into your local news regarding the day's string of brawls, and you'll get what I mean.

Wouldn't it be better to repost some things here and just ask for advice on how to respond?

I have to agree with Hannah on this, while I love a good debate, I have standards.
The suggestion of you posting some of his material arguments here for responses might work better for you.
As for your horn blast issue.. the study does not take into account two things:
1) The hearing capabilities of the test subjects.
2) The physical reflexes of the subjects.
These two factors would only be of no consequence in a study with over 1000 test subjects on each side where the statistics would cancel out these factors.

This is what you post whilst you lack sleep.
I really do love a good debate against rational minded people (actually I love nothing more than a humorous debate where nobody is taking the issue seriously) but sometimes I have the rare urge to debate trolls and idiots which has led me to debate *takes drink*
fanboys. (blech).
Thanks for your advice though, something tells me the debate will not last long. Oh and hannah, where do you go for debate?

My brain hurts reading that nonsense. That isn't a debate, that is a group of people talking to someone who has the brain capacity of a mentally retarded box of rocks. I now hate newgrounds, thank you.

I usually just troll commies on Second Life until they argue with me. Some of them are quite intelligent, others just think they are. Either way, I get to have fun.
