Back in February, we brought word of the Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li movie cast. It went something like this: Michael Clarke Duncan ("Balrog"), Chris Klein ("Charlie Nash"), Rick Yune (Chun-Li's trainer) and Kristin Kreuk ("Chun Li"). While we also knew that the Black Eyed Peas' Taboo would be joining the cast, we didn't know which role he'd be taking. Today, Capcom announced that Taboo will be "Vega," and Neal McDonough (pictured) will play "M. Bison." The movie will be out in 2009.

Why? Why in the world do that have to rape my childhood any more? I wish they would stop making ****ty movies based and video games. And when they do they pick the worst actors to play some of the characters. Who's next? Jackie Chan as Ryu? Tobie McGuier as Ken?

MK1 was not to bad if you gave it alil slack...altho VD's SF was bad....almost like a STD.....

Kristin Kreuk is a terrible choice for Chun Li. She doesn't even look Chinese. I hate it when Hollywood only picks actresses and actors for their name recoggnition. :mad:

Or use scripts made by thos they sleep with or owe.......
I can live with it being in the parking lot of the ball park but not with the script being like the gum on your shore in the mens room.

It wont take hollywood much effort to match or be worse than the dialog on the series...

The fact that it stars the same guy who provided both face and voice for 1 and 3 means instant win.

Seriously. Why didn't they get Zhang Ziyi to play Chun Li? At least she's done martial arts movies before. A Chinese actress playing a Chinese character? There's a novel idea. :eek:

You forget Hollywood casting is more about who sleeping with who and blackmail than it is whos the right person for the job.

That and they have to appeal to the lowest common denominator. No sense doing something right when all you care about is makeing half a billion dollars on a film.

Onimusha is being directed by Christopher Gans, who helmed Silent Hill and Brotherhood of the Wolf.

you forget ,the drooling morons they try so frocking hard to cater 2 will go see it twice regardless of what it is because they have no fcking life!
