I've noticed that on the GamePolitics.com blog, most of the images that are posted alongside the entries (Eg: Pictures of Jack) look very jagged, like they have been forced into a smaller resolution then they were taken.
I suggest using an Image manipulation program to use an algorithm to resize these images so that they look clear and easy to see. I often use Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/) to do this (Freeware), if you need a recommendation.
