How about neither? WoW FTW.
No red Wii at release = no buy.
PS3 is $600+ = no buy.
No games for the 360 that I am interested in = no buy.
I will wait for truly next gen content, and not this gen content with shiney graphics. Also, I just blew a lot of money one a MacBook, so I have to recoup before an HD tv purchase.
Remember gamers, just because the systems come out, doesn't mean we have to buy them. I will wait till I see a game I will play.

Frivolous as it might seem, yes. I hate nintendo's history of releasing a product, then releasing limited edition colors later, that I would have bought instead. Plus, I HATE white. Too Mac-y. Yeah, call me weird, but for nintendo color matters to me.
I will buy it, just not at release. I almost never buy release consoles to begin with. Too many buggs. DRE's anyone?

Yeah I am waiting for the second generation Wii when they make it smaller and more slimline. So I can call it my Wii Wii. :D

I prefer black consoles anyway. They just look shinier. Nintendo seems to be good at doing enough bug testing before launch, though my first GC did break after warranty and I had to buy another one, it took it awhile to break though and other then that I've never had any problem with a Nintendo console so unlike if I get a 360 I won't be too worried that my Wii will break.

No, they're releasing it in two versions, black and white IIRC or at least I thought they were.
Damn, they aren't, oh well it doesn't matter, it's the games that matter after all. I just assumed because they had black dev kits.

I'm not impressed by any of the new generation consoles, but I might save up for a PS3 after a few years or something.

Next gen=4core cpu with multicore videocard rendering graphics and physics simultaniously using dx10 on vista. Playing games with wireless 360 controller, naturally! Oh yeah, and everything in HD cause pc=hd auto-matically!
Ill get a wii when they come in better colors too. Color me badd but I agree with jeffy1.

Wii:Looks good could be alot better but in all blows the compintion out of the water..
360:WEAK....it lacks hatred..err....damn been watching to much naruto (eps 100-127) anyway its weak stil cralwign from its grave of a launch it will improve but the lack of full BWC has killed it dead for me and others.
PS3:Sonys arrogances has filled me with hate for it its 200 more than what I would be willing to pay it just all adds up to PS3? maybe in 3 years when sony removes their head from their arse and breaths before diving back in...
Next gen
Bah next gen is still limited by devs that are more interested in looks over gameplay thats why the WII is the only innovation on the frigging market....
Sure games can improve with more space to play in and less loading times but sht right now tst more of the same its like for the most part the game industry has learned from hollywood/Washington the status quo is a good quo...bah....
Besides Next gen for consoles has always tried to just match the PC games of the day in power the PS3 might be equal to PC for a year or so....

I'm happy with the new 360 I got a few weeks ago. If I had to get another console I would get the PS3 but only after a year or so when they fixed most of the bugs and maybe get a bit of a price drop as well because I do pay though the ass some of the time for things I want but even I will not pay around 700 bucks for the good model of the PS3.
Nintendo is a bit on thin ice with me because they do have two games that I want to play (Red Steel & Super Smash Bros. Brawl) they need to do more to convince me to march down to the closest Costco to buy one. One of the things that is putted me off from it somewhat is not that long ago one of Nintendo's top brass (I think it was Miyamoto who said this) that the Wii is a supercharged Gamecube packaged in a new shell with just a few minor enhancements added to it. And also I'm kind of on the fence about Nintendo's new commitment to the more older gamers by also stocking titles for that age group because in their past Nintendo has had a notable habit of not really sticking with their new commitments that they have set out to do. Good example is most of all of their add-on's they made for their systems and handhelds quite a lot of them only get used for maybe one or two games and then they stop support for them all together.
Plus I also made it a rule to wait until a system maker has about 4 or 5 games that I'm in to before I get the system.

and the 3fing 60 ain't a Xbx 1.5? come on a Wii is a GC 1.5 no doubt but at east they have tried to be innovative instead of ploping their eyes out to the graphical goddess >>
BTW did you get the new 65N 360 or just a new 360 of the first version.

I think I got the newest revision of the XBox this one came with an extra wireless controller, three months of XBox Live for free, a Microsoft Points card for 1025 and a play and charge kit. I don't know really I'm just guessing.

Vista supports dx10. On a high end machine it runs faster than xp. That's all I need to know.

And vista locks video and audio wont paly it unless it has DRM on it and think of older games and stuff that have video ...uhgggg thats video alone is 30% of the reason I have a comp,the other 30 is net,20 games and the last bit 20% is audio.
they have managed to remove al most all my instrests in one fail swoop.
Not to mention the new Windoses Gennie DRM that much like the ond when it forces reactiivtion and trust me IT WILL REACTIVATE YOU SOMETIME FOR SOME REASON it locks you out of safe mode and then demands you call MS for a install key or worse a new license for only 70% of the price of the OS thats 2 months old.........VIsta simpley is not worth it your better off spending a year or 2 getting to know lunix while waiting on someone to "fix" Vister

Its been 2 or 3 years since I really tried linux and now adays it has a better GUI windose like driver setup everything but great DX compatibly ,and wine and cine fix most of that :3
