..well the article manages to be ****ing retarded.
It misspelled CCP, and eve has no use of "anti-piracy" measures. It doesn't even have a CD key. You just pay 19.99 to start an account past the trial then the monthly fee.
Its simply just another way for CCP to distribute the game, and possibly increase the player base.
Hopefully they will improve Tranquility, possibly even implement infiniban and make the cluster capable of dynamic scaling.
Not to mention that they aren't going to force people to use steam to play.

:) yer infiniban is already being worked on as i understand it, and steam is just being used as a distribution method, which is just fine i think.
