A friend of mine and i are doing a school project at the moment. We're in college right now (or whatever the swedish equivalent is). Anyway, we were allowed to choose any subject we liked and we chose video game legislation, mental effects, and stuff like that.
Now the problem is, she isn't very well "educated" in these matters. So i wondered if there's a quick recap or general info about the anti-games movement, research about video game violence and legislation. If there's none, you could write one up, but i think that's asking too much. :o
The reason i'm asking this is that i'm very bad at explaining stuff, coupled with the fact that this is a pretty broad subject. Thanks in advance! :D

My advice would be using a combo of GP, google and wikipedia. For example; I think its common sense media who released the "report card" on video games. Google them and any studies they mention and check them out in wikipedia.
You can also check out JBT in wikipedia, either for a laugh or for some info on activism against video games.

*tinkers* Flame Shotgun! Epic win!
Anyways, would JBT be a good overall punching bag? Or should i include someone else as an example? I don't really know about more game critics than him, LaRouche, Clinton and Lieberman.

IMO Lieberman. He has been at his wackiness for as long as memory serves without a semblence of a clue. Applarentlyh It is personal with him. Not idea as to why.
LaRouche just hates. Games sure, but other minor things like sunshine. TO much a bigot to be considered seriously. Methinks H.R. Clinton is on her political highhorse. When the election pressures are over it is unlikey she stand on games with be of any interest.
Of course if you DID happen to have a flamethrower why not just nail all 4 at the same time?

Allright, so either Lieberman or JT it is... i think i'll go with Jack, since he's more internationally known than Lieberman.
