Is "insider access to" E3 an ECA affinity benefits for members?

"affinity benefits to its members—from discounts on subscriptions and game rentals and purchases to education, employment assistance, and insider access to industry news and events." http://www.theeca.com/about_eca.htm

Unfortunately, the ECA has no control over that one.

As you've probably seen, beginning with the 2007 show, the ESA (which owns E3) is running E3 as a scaled-down, invitation-only event.

And (again, you probably know this already, so forgive me), ESA = game publishers. ECA = game consumers. No relationship between the two, despite the similar abbreviations..

That's why I don't like the ESA.. Bastards are more interested in making money than making qulity products. This explains why until recently EA churned out half-rate franchises instead of games.
