Been having trouble with my posts being eaten all day, it's been fine before now.

There is probably some kind of subliminal message from a higher power involved... ;)

Yup, I tried replying to Thompsons little spiel in the Hal Halpin thread, but still no-go.

I shall flap my gums incessantly and accuse everyone of censorship!! :D

Thanks to whoever unblocked that one.

I've put one in the prostitution article as well, but still no go. I'm wondering why it keeps spamulating my posts, I'm wondering if my IP has wandered into the twilight zone or something?

I just tried to post a couple of posts to the story about those two teens who killed a 7-year old, but there was no luck.

Seriously though, I just tried posting in the article about the IGN reporter, even tried it with another Email address, still no luck, it really doesn't like me for some reason....

Try changing your Screen Name.

I tried just adding a 2 to the end of my name, but that may have been too similar, next post I make, I'll alter it to something completely different...

Edit: Nope, different name, different Email address, it seems to be IP related..

Have you considered changing you colour, I'm fairly confident that if you weren't blue there wouldn't be a problem :p

I have the exact same problem. The spam filter seems to go wild. Can Dennis do something about it?

Whatever you did, that seems to have fixed it. Thanks a lot for that :)

Edit: It's kind of ironic that my first post after having the spam filter removed from me consists of 100% pure Spam :eek: :o

If it gave you the message that your comment is awaiting moderation, then it has not been eaten. I am having some trouble accessing the moderation queue at work, but will fix it as soon as I can.

For some reason, certain types of links send up flags to the spam filter. BUt most don't get spammed. They simply get sent to moderation to await human verification.

every once in a while something will happen and somebody will get flagged as spam. That is really annoying. Usually happens to long posts with several links in them. The spam filter also does not like long lists.

But I will un moderate the comment as soon as possible.

Sorry got confused on making a new thread or not..I have been frivolous in posting and ..well....I confuse myself.....gotta stop licking the wallpaper....:eek:

BTW would making a stick here for main site posting issues not be more efficient than single thread gripes?
