We've fielded a number of questions about if the ECA has a related chairty (which we do not, as yet), or if we support other games-related organizations. So, for your review and hopefully support, below is the list of charities that the ECA supports:

Yale New Haven Children's Hospital
The Tommy Fund for Childhood Cancer
Get Well Gamers
Kids in Crisis
George Washington Carver Community Center
Child’s Play Charity
Gifts from Gamers
CT Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities
Kid Wish Network
Fun for our Troops

For more information, or to add a charity, please reply to this post.

Have you considered Toys for Tots (http://www.toysfortots.org/)?

Child's Play is better than Toys for Tots as far as gamers are concerned.

not to talk down to TfT, but i know many people over the years who wouldn't donate because it was run by the Marines.

There's another new (to me, anyway) one that we're adding to our lists:

Gamers Outreach Foundation

We've recently begun an effort to have all of the games-related charities work together, which seems to be heading in the right direction. Hopefully it's just the beginning of a lot of fruitful collaboration.
