It’s a shame the BBFC didn't have the balls to slap it with a 18+ and be done with it, TT should then edit it for better sales, why they cannot take that approach I do not understand all the fluff and nonsense over banning it is ridiculous...

I can see MH2 still being slotted to 18+ just because the BBFC is that pissy they could also deny the edited version a rating, but most likely it will be given a 15+ just because of moralistic whims.

BTW Australia is switching to pegi hopefully no more bans there.

Somthing i read today about the BBFC certificating some old films that were until now still banned in the UK.

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/01/28/video_nasties/

According to the Evening Standard, movie buffs can now legally enjoy the delights of titles including SS Experiment Camp, Driller Killer and Snuff "because of more relaxed modern attitudes towards extreme on-screen violence".
Makes me wonder why they are fighting so hard on the one hand to ban Manhunt, while at the same time taking an explicitly more liberal view of films.

Do you need us to tell you of their hippocracy?

They already are. Of course, I have no way of knowing that *ahem*.

Methinks the movie industry threatened a kickback reduction if the game sees shelves or something.

This thought has crossed my mind- it is the British Board Of Film Classification, after all.
