Depends how you join the forums- if you ordinarily access http://www.gamepoliticsforums.com, then your cookie won't carry over to http://gamepoliticsforums.com , which is how the forum is linked from the main site, and vice versa.

It's happened to me a couple times, usally when I'm posting. I should be logged in, but once I hit the post ubtton, it tells me I'm not. Damndest thing.

Yeah, its happend to me as well, I thought it was some auto-timeout thing.

Edit: Happened again, I was navigating back to the main page and when I got there I was logged out.

That just happened to me. I logged in, clicked "start a new thread," wrote the post, clicked "start new thread" and I was redirected to the log in page.
