The flag of social fascism flew gallantly against the backdrop of a debate devoted to the economic and social indoctrination of the vast majority of Americans.

Among the panel of exclusively white and male canidates we have come to love over these past several months, Huckabee certainly represented the vanguard of the superstitious assault against economic and social freedom in the United States in the most direct and precise fashion!

...I feel a small rant coming on,

Huckabee stands against working people by supporting a disgusting economic structure that is channeling more American money upwards than any point in recent history. Huckabee stands against the rights of the American people to live equally and happily under matrimony and common law marriage. Huckabee stands for enforcing personal moral values and religious norms on a free nation. Huckabee supports internationally illegal warfare and using lies to justify war as a measure of national policy. Huckabee stands against healthcare for the American people to ensure that his corporatized donors can continue to exploit the suffering of honest people for profit. Huckabee stands against the protection of our environment and advancement of the sciences. His superstitious value system, founded upon ambiguous religious principles derived from Bronze Age superstition, refutes basic ethical obligations founded upon the principle of autonomy. Huckabee stands for the barbaric implementation of the death penalty, a relic of retributive justice that has absolutely no moral or preventative value. Huckabee stands for torture and misleading the American people into believing artificially inflated terror threats. Huckabee is also rabidly anti-woman. He thinks women should return to their Biblically defined roles as nothing but wives and mothers. He believes life begins at conception, which means he's not just desirous of banning abortion but hormonal birth control and the IUD, along with comprehensive sex education since men MUST have virgin brides.

Mmm... Rant over, much better. Perhaps I am picking on Old Huck a little too harshly?

Probably. Most of Huckabee's fellow GoP members agree with these backward and uniquely American concepts. Their efforts are horribly failing if they hope to unite the country. The US is waking up a little more with each passing day; the hateful rallying cry of conservative superstition and economic exploitation grows softer each hour. For supporters of the party of economic and social oppression, I suggest electing a candidate who is a little more uniting than a man like Huckabee. It is insane to suggest that Huckabee should be elected because he could "unite" moderates and draw out independent voters. Now that Brownback has dropped from the race, Huckabee represents the most divisive candidate on the GoP ballot.

On another note, was I the only person absolutely disgusted by the perverse amount of religious "values" injected into the debate? We can’t expect much from a stage filled with three men who refute the theory of evolution [for creationist superstition] and a metaphysically absurd Mormon, but I was surprised at the sheer extent of Bible thumping that appeared particular to this debate. Nothing like stripping away the moral autonomy of your fellow citizens by remaining steadfast in your belief that a text that glorifies a genocidal, child killing, monster should serve as a universal moral compass!

Here are several wonderful depictions of modern GoP values:

I find this a very interesting view on things. How do you people manage?

Rofl on the second picture.

While I don't have rabid fringe opinions like you, I agree that the GOP is wearing religion on it's sleeves and trying to exploit the christian vote.

EDIT: Hopefully, people won't fall for it.

Disgusting. While I may not be able to vote, it gets on my nerves that political groups like these parade around as "Christians" just to win favors.

It's Christians like them that give our community a very, very bad name

No he wouldn't - he'd probably use a Galil (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galil). It is proudly Israeli after all:D

Antisemitics always claim that the jews killed Jesus. This is somewhat true, as it is a known fact that an IDF sniper traveled back in time and BOOM HEADHSHOTed him.

EDIT: Also, that same sniper was posted on the walls of Masada, and repeatedly sniped the Romans. When the battle went poorly, he just teleported back to Tel Aviv in his own time period.

No, see, it was the Jewish lobby in Rome. Oh and the Jewish media, they blasted Christians all day through the Daily Scroll... Oh and don't forget the Jewish bankers, Rome would have been screwed without them. You didn't know they controlled the world even then? Why they...

Ok, I can't go on. My brain is rebelling against me and giving me a headache... ;)

I would be fine with Christians if they did two things:

1. Jesus was actually a wonderful person who preached loved and tolerance. He informed others that they had an obligation to help their fellow people and practice many morally upstanding values. The terrific character of Jesus is destroyed by the angry, hateful, and insane war God depicted in the Old Testament. "God" amounts to little more than a child killing, genocidal, racist, homophobe, torturous, and morally perverted bully. I would be far more likly to embrace Christians if Jesus had rejected the entire OT, OR modern Christians rejected it. As it stands, Christianity has little -- if any -- validity.

2. Religious conservatives must practice consistent values. They must stop their attack on the rights of Americans and embrace the true values of Christ.

Bah, don't use that twisted logic to attack Christians. Just label those who claim to be Christians but behave otherwise to be heathenistic dogs who are traitors to their faith. That pisses them off WAY more than just attacking Christians in general.

Attack them all and they all band together to back each other up. Pick away one at a time, and each will find they've got no-one to stand up for them... because their individual sins get showcased front and centre.
