What do you think so far? Rock Band announced the prices for their 3-songs pack and it's 5,49$ (U.S. of course, us canadians will probably shafted). So it's basically 75 cents cheaper than the 3-songs pack of Guitar Hero at 6,25$ (7,25$ canadian thought the canadian dollar is stronger, that's what I meant about us getting shafted). Or for those who have an Xbox 360, 440 points for a 3-songs pack for Rock Band compared to 500 points for Guitar Hero.

Rock Band will also have individual songs at 1,99$. And also full albums at an undisclosed price. So what do you think of the pricing? Is it fair or too high? (I know a lot of people felt it was too high for Guitar Hero).

US$1.99 is just shy of GB£1, which is a penny more than iTunes charge for DRM tracks and what Sony are charging for SingStore in the UK, so that's not a bad price- however, the dollar's weak against the pound ATM, so that may be a false economy, not forgetting that US iTunes is sub-$1 (IIRC) and the Rock Band pricing is in MS Points, and the US$ -> MSP exchange rate isn't comparable to the MSP -> GB£ exchange rate.

Long story short, I don't know.

I was right. Canadians got screwed once again (again? actually, all the time).
Rock Band prices for individual song downloads is 2,99$. That means roughly 3,29$ U.S when U.S. residents only have to pay 1,99$. That's a 65% increase in price. When will videogame companies realize that it's not because that we are in Canada that they can overcharge us.
