Well, they finally made the level 20-60 experience curve easier by reducing amount needed and increasing the xp given from quests. Plus they didn't nerf Arms/Fury Warriors too much, though they did change the Effects of the Weapon Mastery talent from immunity to disarm when maxed out to only 50% chance. Protection warriors got a bit screwed though.

I play a BM hunter myself. My lvl's too low, but I am definitely looking forward to the revamps to rank 6 arcane shot, aimed shot, and trap dmg.
On the stranger side of matters, I can't directly sell to vendors when I toggle the buyout window. It still works when I keep to the buy window, and right click the loot, though. Anybody else ran into this?

A BM hunter? I should stab you in the knees you OP bastard lol just kidding.
A few people ran into this issue you speak of, as well as a few issues with the Auction Houses. It seems the AH no longer sorts by buyout price and it has a few people ticked. I did notice it because I usually use the level range search option and found my Crystal Blade of the Space Goats fairly easy. I really haven't noticed the vendor problem but I always do the right click to sell thing. I haven't gotten to experience a lot of 2.3 yet, when it came out I was running a Friend's alt through SM Armory so he could get his final 2 pieces of the Scarlet Armor. Ret Paladins got a massive boost (Thank God) too bad I specd prot a few days before the patch because there are close to zero tanks on my server due to everybody wanting to DPS, Same thing with healers.
I love how they tweaked the interface, feels new and enjoyable not to mention I am loving the dual core support now :D. Should start loving it more once I am done with my Assassin's Creed fix :D.

I've been loving 2.3, my MM hunter feels great now. Also - Daily cooking quests = win. Aside from that, the AH sorting is fail and I feel like my pet takes more damage now. Also, I think a gerbil could level 1-60 with the new changes, its that easy now.

I'm being tempted to make a facemelter just for the heck of if...
...but given my *succes* rate at BG, I better get more practice in with my hunter.
@Demontestament
Remember: Rogues do it from behind, Pallies do it aurally, and hunters do it with their pets...

I was playing with a friend last night and he was telling me how pissed he was about it. He had played Star Wars before this, and he was basically afraid that what happened there would happen with WoW now that this patch had come out. Somehow though I don't see it happening. As others have said, if anything it makes the game more enjoyable and easier.
Also, I think Blizzard knows what they're doing. Part of the reason why WoW has been so successful is they looked at what the other MMO's, and from them learned both what to do and what not to do. Also since they'll be adding 10 more levels once Wrath of the Lich King comes out, I think they want to make sure that everyone gets to the endgame level content as soon as they can (Battlegrounds and Raids and so forth) since that's where most of the good stuff is.

I don't think Blizzard will ever completely revamp the gamplay of WoW. But tweaks like this are a good thing.

I am tempted to make a lock named Foxnews. I mean they are the only ones in the world who spam fear more than a lock :D.

Stick with a facemelter. Then you can fear spam AND mind control. FoxNews is teh 1337 doing both to their demographic. Of course, this means you'll be spiking aggro wherever you go, and you'll be topping everybody's hate list.

If I remember right, you can't manually name your demon summons. If you're keen on O'Reilly, however, there's always the pet horned owl...

Explain this "Edit the Tag" thing you speak of. It isn't something I know of in the main game. You must be referring to a UI mod...

If you right click on the picture of your summoned imp, succubus, void walker, fel guard etc there is a Edit Label you can select when you select it you are allowed to type something in a small text box. From what I have been told people in your group will see the tag of your pet along with it's name.
Take an Imp for example, they usually have a name that looks like someone slammed their face into the keyboard to create it. Now I can edit the label of said Imp to read Hctib Elttil (Which is the current tag I have for my level 8 lock :D ) Now if what I was told is correct, anyone who groups with me should see his tag. Not sure if it works though.

Why does your imp tag sound familiar, was that used in LFG comics?

Myself and my wife just started playing again. We both LOVE the changes in 2.3. Playing on Stormwind still, Nickwright and Miafey.
