Guitar Hero 2

I got Guitar Hero 2 for my birthday this past October 17th (yep I'm a ripe old 34 now). I was wondering if anyone had some tips? So far I've gotten a couple five stars, and a lot of fours. I figure practice will help, I was just curious what strategies my fellow gamers had for this one.

I got Guitar Hero 2 for my birthday this past October 17th (yep I'm a ripe old 34 now). I was wondering if anyone had some tips? So far I've gotten a couple five stars, and a lot of fours. I figure practice will help, I was just curious what strategies my fellow gamers had for this one.

A higher difficulty level will make the lower ones very easy to ace. But otherwise, I have trouble hitting those blue notes, and the songs with rapid switching between one note and two note chords kill me.

Practice practice practice, just like with a real instrument. Start with easy, do all the songs, go to medium, do all the songs, try hard out, if you can't do that go back and ace all the medium then the hard should be easy...
