Ok, so, I took a spin on the Mandate demo, and I must admit, if your looking for get another FEAR fix, then by all means, the game is perfect. It doesn't do anything drasticly different, but it does continue fears gameplay expertly.

The Good stuff is all there, and some of the annoying stuff to, but all in all, looks to be a good addition to the FEAR legacy till Project Origin comes out.

So anyone else given it a try?

A textbook example of good sequel making. Leave th good stuff the hell alone ,and try to adress the problems.

It's a Gaiden, really, but it does look like a pretty kickass side story to Extraction Point.

I own and liked the original F.E.A.R., though I missed-out on the Extraction Point expansion. Perseus Mandate just came out, but it's also included in the new Platinum Edition along with Director's Cut of the original game as well as Extraction Point.

So considering I've only played the original and neither of the two expansions, would it be worth it to get the Platinum? Are the two expansions good enough to justify getting everything in a single package?

I plan on either getting this or Hellgate: London this weekend. So which would I be better off spending my money on?

Extraction Point is a damn good expansion that continues right after the first game. And I'm going to pick up Perseus Mandate when my Stabbotron is back online.
