Thomas was out at the USC Business of Gaming event last Friday and was welcomed warmly. I understand that the show went well and we signed up a fair number of new members. There's even interest in a ECA Chapter at USC! So thanks to the students - especially Hanna Evron, who organized the event - and faculty, for their hospitality and for their support of the association.

And fingers crossed on the new chapter possibility, there are a few colleges/universities which are all well on their way, and a couple of major cities as well. It'll be interesting to see how quickly they ramp up and how many more follow suit. Undoubtedly, chapters will be the way in which we make the most profound impact and effect real and lasting change. :)

I'm curious. By USC, do you mean the University of Southern California, or the University of South Carolina? I've seen the acronym used for both.

We were at the University of Southern California. It was a lot of fun, and a great success, I look forward to working with the students in the future.

That is a problem with a lot of University acronyms they tend to blend in. Even when schools have different acronyms but similar names it can get confusing.

How many ASU's can you name? Then there is North Carolina State University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Both are commonly referred to just North Carolina University.

Hey guys, thanks for the interest in having us visit your schools, right now I'll be visiting the Northeast colleges in the short term, as well as the Chicago area. So if any of you guys are in any schools anywhere in those areas, let me know and perhaps we can arrange meeting up. If any of you guys want to get involved in founding an ECA chapter, post your college/university here, and I'll help you out.
