I may be moving back to Baltimore in a few months and in addition to getting even more involved in the Obama campaign I'm interested in your fledling Lobby that I assume you will base out of DC and how I can even volunteer time to help out. If theres anything i can do from here in Redmond I'm friends with employees of high rank both within Microsoft Game Studios and Nintendo America so just let me know. I joined up because I want to be active, not just to get a membership card. ;>

Hi PH. Thanks for your support and for your interest in helping out. We presently have pretty strong relationships with the console manufacturers, but appreciate the offer. The ECA is a web-based organization; in other words we try to run a virtual office, but our headquarters is based in Connecticut. While we ramp up our Government Relations' efforts and hire on staff in that area, it’s very likely that we’ll have some sort of presence in DC; but probably not in the very near future. If you are interested in getting more engaged, I’d be happy to send you information on how to start a local chapter! Having some intelligent and articulate members willing to band together and aid our advocacy efforts in DC would be huge. Let me know what you think and thanks again!
