Has anyone else esperienced this game?

And if so, do you have a problem with the resolution? I have my home computer set to 800x600 to make it easy to read. (I also have graphics set to a minimum which means that DirectX is disabled. Due to my prior graphics problems with my computer.)

The game playing area is too large to display on my screen. And only setting the graphics to the maximum 1280x1024 will the game area display totally on screen. There appears to be no way to adjust the resolution of the game itself and for some reason it doesn't auto-rescale to closely match my computer's resolution (I suspect due to DirectX being disabled but I'm not sure) or offer a way to move around the game area (such as scroll bars).

Anyone have this problem or is this due to my having DirectX disabled?

Thanks in advance.

I find games based on card games rather useless.

I respect the strategy and dedication required to build a good deck, but I just don't really care to play them.

They rape stargate with an online card game...yeah I can see it. Sorry I find online card games to be dull and at most retarded. If I want to go play a card game I will grab my magic decks and go down to the local game shop or over to the college and play people there. Is it like Magic online where you have to buy the cards?

Yeah, I figured that would make you happy. :)

Although, if you checked the forum, the posters feel it might be cancelled. No serious evidence yet though.

Doing a search for Stargate shows a few games that exist (one is a mobile phone game) based on SG-1. One of them was also cancelled.

But I think the MMO is the one you'll be mostly interested in.

The trading card game looked interesting to me. I've tried several other trading card games over time, but not been as interested in most of them as many other folks are. I played the Magic: The Gathering when Microprose published it. I've tried the computer version of Yu-Gi-Oh, but not exceptionally liked it.

But a Stargate, or even better a Star Trek, online trading card game I might enjoy. Not so sure I'd like a Star Wars one.

I have played Magic the Gathering in my youth and found that playing a CCG would let me face my opponent face to face where ever we want. So CCG online would eliminated one of the few times a nerd can go out and socialize.

Supposedly they (SOE) are trying to create a Star Wars online card game that works inside of SWG, similar to their Legends of Norrath card game for EQ/EQ2.

Folks might finally see an actual use for the gaming tables after all these years.
