Recieved the game last Friday, I think this was the only time I was happy to be home with a 101 degree fever. From what I have playing in it so far I think it is an ok game when played single player. I wish that every character still had two fighting styles and a weapon instead of the new one and a weapon, I can see why due to the amount of characters in the game they chose to do only one style. I am really not a big fan of the Kreate a Fatality System, yes that means that anyone can do a string of moves at the end and finish their opponet, but it seems all too Generic to me. I love Motor Kombat, it is like mario kart but with death and explosions. Multi-player is of course better than playing against the AI, Konquest Mode is cool I am up to fighting a giant 30 foot statue of Shao Khan(Khannnnnn!). Onlie Play is cool right now, but I fear that soon it will become infested with gameshark cheats that it will kill the game for those who want to really have fun and not stroke their e-penis and worry about their ranking.
I made my brother laugh, he went out for a bit so I decided to make my own fighter using the kreate a kombatant option. When he come back he chooses Dairou and I quickly choose my custom. The match Dairou vs He-Man, thats right He-Man bitches!
Anyway, anyone else have the game? If so what do you think of it? What do you like or hate about the game?
Oh and if anyone else plays online I am always open for a match

Speaking of online play, is anyone else getting dissconnected right after a match...it robbed me of a two wins last night and instead maked me with 2 dissconnects.

So you mean all the characters only have one fighting style now, well that kinda of sucks:mad: but its understandable considering all the characters they included. The Motor Kombat sound interesting maybe i'll check it out sometime.

Well I think 2 or 3 have two fighting styles, but those who do don't have a weapon. I can recall all of them but I know Smoke is one of those who has two styles but no weapon.

Could always grab a PS2 version if you have a PS2 handy.

We made a house rule when finishing off Zombie Liu Kang, if you cant take his head off it constitutes a rematch, why? Because he is a zombie, if you didn't sever the head the zombie is going to come after you again.

I also have a fever. Yesterday, I thought it died down, so I went to the mall. I *Almost* bought this game, but they asked for ID and everything, and the only reason I would have been able to afford it was because I had credit for that store, so....
It's even more depressing finding out that the goddamn copy of "Star Wars: Knight Of The Old Republic" I got instead looks like someone ground it into the freaking sidewalk, and so it's obviously unplayable... And my fever's back up, so I can't go return it :(

I would head down there in one of those masks that cover your mouth that you get from the doctor and threaten to breath on them and infect them with the T virus unless they replaced your game, but then again that is me and I am just a little insane.

I love it when they water down things even if each character has 2 fighting styles it wont take up that much room ,altho I am not a fan of the 3D fighters that go over th top with non power moves like DOA and Tekken >>

I'm so gettig nthis for Xbox as soon as I can.
I got it...I beat Konquest, then made Chun Li with the character maker as soon as I could. I miss the 2nd fighting styles as well, but there's so many characters, I figure it would have been a lot more work to find enough styles for everyone...that made sense. But, I don't mind. Scorpion still rules.
Oh, and Mokap has two styles, too.

I got this game a while ago. It is pretty awesome. But it gets boring real quick because there aren't that many unlockables. I have yet to try online.

Yeah once I went through Konquest I felt a bit cheated by it, online is ok if you are lucky enough to find someone who actaully plays the game and doesn't cheat or talk **** for the purpose of harrassment.
and in regards to my letter to GameSpy I sent it to them a few days ago....still haven't gotten a reply.
What was the letter to Gamespy about?
I'm new, so I haven't heard about it.

It had to do with peopel being nast.y Liek beign racist in the chat area or using Gamesharks and such so they "win" all the time and Gamespy was doing nothing to stop it.

Update....still nothing from them. Ten to one they laughed at it and then deleted it and went back to writing half assed reviews.
Heck, I could have told you that. I've never found Gamespy to work, much less work well, and even when I could get something to work with their system, they didn't regulate their player base so people could get away with all kinds of stuff. But then again, I was opposed to them from day 1 because of things I was told about them...some horror stories friends had about getting spybots and stuff like that from what them, or at least they figured it was them.

I';m glad I deleted it then. Still, I woudln't be surprised if they try t ogina a monopoly so that's all we have XP
