I just picked up my daughter from my sister's bridal shower and I realized something: Slowly but surely, my wife's circle of friends is becoming my sister's circle of friends and they're becoming friends as well. Should I be worried since this may create a situation where my sister takes my wife's side by default, as well as my mother who already does?

Come on... what's the REAL problem here? Are you creating a situation for your sister to take your wife's side? A little mistrust on the side? Friends talking shash about you?

Rodney Dangerfield once said: "My wife and I were happy for twenty years. Then we met."

In case you weren't aware, marriage laws were about unity, not justice. :)

Someone once said it was men who controlled the world. He was of course a guy, and i tried to explain to him that it was really the women who rule, have ruled and will continue to rule.

Of course he would belive it, he was like well president bush is a guy and so is many other world leaders.

I tried to tell him again that the women still control the world, they just want the men to think they are incontrol. that way in the future women can develop something that allows them to give birth and skip sex.

He still doesnt belive me, i would have discussed it further with him, but his wife sent him out for ice cream.

I wouldn't worry about it, your ****ed already. Even if she didn't start hanging around your wife's friends she would already take your wife's side. Women are evil and stick together when it comes to the evil men. :D.

Seriously though, your ****ed lol.

My daughter's not old enough for that yet. ;)

Still, nightwng2000's right, it's about unity. Parents should be a united front when it comes to serious issues, but can compete for the silly stuff. If it ever happens that it's NOT the case, and you feel the issue IS serious, talk to your wife about it, take her aside where it's one on one, so it's less about defending your daughter's actions, and more defending your wife's decision to take her side. Let her know how you feel, and why you feel that supporting her didn't feel right.

But until then, don't destroy the trust you have by suspecting what may or may not be. It won't help. :)

Oh, and don't forget those two words that lead to a long and happy marriage:

"Yes, Dear" :D
