Clover Studios meets the same fate as Studio 8

So, no more sequels to Viewtiful Joe, or possible sequels to Okami and God Hand. And with Studio 8 gone, no more Maximo.

This really sucks. I played some of the first Viewtiful Joe, and I want to play Okami and God Hand. But this studio really pushed out creative games, and now they're gone...

I think it was to prove a point to the other studios working under them: never go against the family. Supposedly Clover said that they did not like Spamoni ice cream like Capcom does, but instead enjoy Rocky Road. It escalted from there with coke vs. Pepsi.

Or they got jealous that they were making better games and Mega man was/is falling to the waste side ....

I woudln't be surprised if Capcom's main house begins making those games so they cna only have their name on it, then again, this is Capcom, maker of Spamman[Megaman."
