I got a 2GB flash drive, and I was putting something onto it from this computer but the computer froze up. However, data remains on the flash drive. There are no files, hidden or otherwise, so I'm wondering how I can wipe it, to get rid of that excess data from whatever is on there.

Unfortunately, I'm not the best at computers. Any suggestions?

Say, this may be completely off topic with what you all are talking about and I'm sorry about that, but I must ask this question. Since ESRB rates all the games, is it illegal for a minor to play Mature rated games such as Halo (2)? Is it against ANY laws that prohibit a minor from playing M games? I'm an avid gamer, but don't want to break any laws. Can ANYBODY help me out with this please.

First of all, you shouldn't post like that. In a completely unrelated topic; you should've made another topic in the respected forum.

Anyhow, the ESRB ratings are just guidelines, and are not backed by law. So no, there are no laws saying a minor cannot play a M-rated game, so it's completely legal. A retailer doesn't have to sell it to you, but you are, in all rights, able to legally play M-rated games, even as a minor.

Open up My Computer, right click the drive, and click Format.

How the hell did I miss that? Well, thank you very much.
