Who was just interviewed by Fox News on relation to the shooting at Virginia Tech... Extra bonus if you guess what he said....
Anyone have a guess????
Merge with thread on said person.
I bet he said "The blood is on the hands of the developers/politicians who refused to sign these video game laws into effect"

The usual drivel.
"he filled his head and heart and soul with violent entertainment which pushed him over the edge"

Don't you just want to hug him when he says things like that? :3

I heard that.
For christ's sake, he's been yapping for years about "Columbine 2.0" but i din't know it would actully happen. Yikes.
According to my mom, he made some valid points. I'm inclined to believe that. But he's probably going to be gleaning a whole lot of publicity out of this....

He couldn't have possibly made a valid point at all because there simply is NO information on the shooter or what his motives were!!!!

Thing is, he only yapped about columbine 2.0 for so long in the hopes that he'd be right.

And that is exactly the problem I have with him being able to get on tv as an expert. Your mom seems to think he made some valid points. So I would expect that a lot of people who have never played a game, will probably think the same way. People who don't know JT, will believe he is an actual expert who knows what he is talking about, eventhough he doesn't. As long as stations such as Fox consider him an expert, he will stay a danger to the entertaiment industry as a whole. The more he is on tv unchallenged, the more people will want action to be taken against video games. And that is what you get when the "news" only cares about being sensational and doesn't care about the truth any longer.
I came to the forums to make a prediction of what JT would say about the shooting, to find that he already had.
He should change his business card to say "Ambulance chasing enthusiast"

I can see it now... F-tard Thompson is making his kid right now go through every video-game ever made looking for a scene where someone chained the doors to a school and shot everyone in site!

Actually, he should change the business card to "Hearse-chasing necrophile".
Anyway, Thompson should just shut the **** up, since he's out of his element(and his mind).

By teh by, anyone whos emailed him in the past (cus i knwo a few people have done it) should keep an eye on there junk mail. I just found a nice letter from him saying you cant deny it was games this time.
If I was deranged as JT, I would say he organized the massacre just so he could get on the news and blame video games for it.
