Well then...who get's your vote??
I will be 17 by the time of the elections(just a year too eqarly :( )
But i would vote for either Jebus(not because i'm a christian....but just because he's awesome) or Obama....Their really the same person, just ask any average joe. It's common knowledge.:D
Either way, my local mall will be completly revamped by the time we get a new prez. Cool, huh?
If there's one positive thing about George Bush, it's that his sheer failure at being a president is pissing off everyone, resulting in a more politically active populace.
This election will be madness. If people could vote in the next our, they would do it posthaste. Just for Lulz, we could invite puff daddy back with his vote or die campaign, but i hardly think that people would need the encouragement:eek:
Obama is Raptor Jesus in disguise, having returned from heaven to lead us into a glorious new age.

I'll make my decision when there are actual candidates. As a moderate best-choice voter, I can't register with the big parties and vote the primaries.

I don't vote primaries, because I don't care for the two party system and would like to keep my options open. So, I don't listen to all the crap that they put out now, but after the primaries then Ill start watching closer.
If I have to pick now I would likely go for McCain or possibly Obama, but I'm disliking Obama more every time I hear him talk.

But if you don't vote, you don't get to complain either. Remember that.
I can't believe you don't hate McCain more every time you hear that bastard talk. But I do hope he gets the nomination, for then Obama's victory is sealed.

I don't vote primaries because I would have to declare a party in Wisconsin.
I voted in the last presidential election and I will vote in this one as well. I missed the senate and local elections this past year because it was held just after I left for Germany, and It was to late for me to register absentee.

Unless things change there's no way in hell Obama will get the party's nomination. Clinton has too much swing in the party, and people (whether you like her or not, which I don't) seem to really get behind her. Not only that but Edwards is gaining steam. Obama will have to think of something to get out in front, and soon before he becomes this year's version of Howard Dean.
If I could vote for any candidate right now my vote would go to Edwards.

It's because of something he said about the election. He wants to do away with political ads. Instead, he said that there should just be a series of debates for the year leading up to the election.
I hope it's Gingrich v. Obama, because he seems naive enough to agree.

Then just register for one. It's not like you have to vote for the party you registered with. Besides, I'm sure you can always change later.

I'd love to see Gingrich elected, that way the speaker of the house can try to impeach him for lies about extra-marital affairs.

You can only vote in the primary for one party not both (hence registered party). I prefer not to stick my name on either party, because that way one party doesn't pre-count your vote.

Blah. There's just as many misogynists and homophobes (no, I didn't...yes, I did) as there are white supremecists. Obama could beat Hillary.
I'm currently on the Bill Richardson bandwagon. I think he's the most qualified candidate, and has the best chance of winning in the elections. Here's why:
1. He has extensive foreign policy experience, which is what the U.S. needs. He negotiated with Saddam to get hostages released, and if he could do that, he could clean up our image with the rest of the world.
2. Democrats have struggled to get votes in the South and the West. Richardson is the governor of New Mexico, so he could get both.
3. Besides Romney (who is a huge joke), Richardson is currently the only candidate to hold a high executive position. That doesn't seem important until you consider the fact that every president since JFK was formerly a governor or a vice president.

Yea....We actully need someone who UNDERSTANDS the jihadists, too.
My spanish teacher said that one of GW's biggest mistakes when going into iraq...was the misconception that they would fall into line upon seeing heavily-armed soldiers.
Maybe if a foreign army invaded here.....But as for the iraqi insurgency, they have life experiance killing peoplein uniform...

Ill have to check on that, I was pretty sure I had to register. It could be that it is a semi-open, where I have to declare the party when I get there. I will have to check. Last time I missed the primary's by a day (18th birthday was the day after), the only reason I can think of to vote the primary this time would be to make sure Hilary doesn't get the nomination.

The only problem I have with most of the democratic candidates is that I don't believe in social programs and they tend to have weaker foreign policy's. Falls under my belief that the presidents job is to represent our nation to the world, not dictate domestic policy. But the democrats have been surprising me so far for this next election. I would still like to see a nice independent running, who actually has a good chance.
But republicans seem FAR more interested in dictating domestic policy. You didn't notice that? :S

North Carolina doesn't have open primaries so I am with Weatherlight on this one, I'll wait until the candidates are in the running. I just wish we could get rid of this 2 candidate system, and have more options.
As it is, once the 2 candidates are selected, I'll choose the lesser of the two evils.

I'd vote Republican if it were Giuliani.

Anyway back to reality. I don't see Hilliary winning because the Democrats know if she wins nomination they can kiss the white house goodbye because she is too bat**** loco and too many people hate her(democrats, republicans and me included). They will go with the smart choice and go for Obama, the only thing is I can see him getting elected and assasinated in his first week of office. Why? Because there are too many ignorant people out there who would rather kill a man than take direction for someone who has black skin.
After Bush's **** ten trillion **** ups(and counting) I doubt any republican will win this election.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the US voters. There's a lot of time before november 08, and thats a whole heck of a lot of time for the Republicans to accuse Obama of being associated with terrorism. Lets not forget that Hillary will also be doing their job for them, she accused him of going to a terrorist school 5 minutes after he said he wanted to run.
I see Hillary destroying Obama, then the dems will give obama the victory in primaries because hillary....well she's evil...then when guilliani v. obama the attack ads will go something like "do you want the dude from the tv during 9/11 or do you want the person who has a skin color similar to those behind 9/11? Also he messed with football and played with a lite-brite in Boston".

Congrats my monitor is now covered in diet pepsi. I hope your happy. Anyway I can't see Guilliani winning ****. The only thing people can remeber him doing(unless you live in New York) is **** during 9/11. But you have to look at the crap he has done in his past, that **** is going to hurt him big time. And yeah Hillary already played the Terrorism card against Obama, too bad he countered with the Hillary is a stupid bitch song.
Hillary is hoping people will associate her with her husband and what a bang up job he did in office. But hopefully they see her for what she really is, a loud mouth crow who will sink to the lowest common demoninator possible to get what she wants.
