There should be easy to enforce term limits for all public offices or at least the ones that matter no person should be in term from more than 1 year.

that said should there be a cooling off faze where the same person can rerun for it after a cool down period of 2-3 years or simply treat politicians like the disposable peons they are.....

We need to do something about the horde of professional politicians we have here in the US.........

From what I know some do some dont its vague and some can skip it because the will of the people demands more anal carnage...

and you know....president term should be 3.... I guess 4 is ok but no more than 4.....it jsut takes to long to heal from the fckups be it dems or reps.... rerun after 4 years sure but 8 years of constantly screwing with the system...no thanks.....

No, voters shouldn't be scared to give the boot to there current senators or governors.

I don't care how long they stay in office. Especially if they're good senators or governors, but if you're a ****ty one and still gets elected every 2 years, then something is really wrong.

CHANGE can be a GOOD thing...

But the problem is that they'd have to vote in the other party. NO THEY CAN'T VOTE IN A THIRD PARTY! It simply isn't done! Unless we're talking about a wrestler. Then it's all good.

BAH!
Intendants are in denial and are wearing bloody sheep's clothing either they stole it from the normal gray sheep or they are the wolf looking to score.....in any case it blows...and blows hard

Republicans are the wolf's and are always looking to herd sheep anyway they can be it via god, black boot or money..or the lack of money is their case....

Democrats are the purty pruty white sheep(mindless elitists that don't have a clue as to how the rule world works) that are so clean you'd think they are not natural...anyone with the balls to run as Green or Libitarian is worth "wasting" a vote on......

At least voting non rip'in'dim (rep'ind'dem) sends a message of malcontent voteing for a new darkling to suck the tit of the great dark masters is not helping things any....and its not like the green party can do anything to change anything its like Hillery trying to change health care in the 90s ,only by injection cold hard reality into this mindless 2 party system will they realize HEY we are not effective anymore because we are sucking up to the wrong people!

I was thinking more along the lines of what they did to our friend Joe from whatever states he's from.

The idea is that a third party needs to be created from nothingness and supported by this same nothingness. The only way it will survive in the United States.

I'll be your president as soon as they repeal that pesky law that says I can't.

And at the rate you guys are repealing laws right now, that shouldn't take too long

The Democratic party did that. If we're going to rely on our two parties to choose when we need new leadership we might as well go with a one party system.

We'll have to see in November then if Joe actually does make it back or if Ned Lamont wins.

But on a side note, the votes don't get the chance to pick who will run for their party in their riding? That blows.

sicne when did we ever have a choice the party "leaders" chose the new hydra head regardless if people like them or now and the electoral commission makes sure makes sure the "right" person wins every chance they get....altho it dosen't help voters re sheeple....

The Political parties should be abolished our system was really set up to sustain them.

As for Term limits some States enforce Term Limits, most do not. Really a House Member shouldnt be in office for more than 10 (3 terms) years and a Senator for 14 (2.5 Terms). The thing is there is no method for the people to enforce term limits as Congress is never going to pass the required Constitutional Amendment, which means the only othe Method would require a Constitutional Congress to be called into Session by 2/3 of the State Legislatures. Both methods are about as likely as pigs flying, actually with genetic engineering these days I think pigs flying is far more likely.

The funny thing is in the early history of the US there were ****loads of parties, but many of them died out for various reasons. The Whigs, for example, ran out of wigs.

If a party becomes obsolete it SHOULD die...and we have 2 good examples right here right now.....its hard to chose a lesser evil when they have strings coming out of their arse.....
