Note first that this page contains nudity and refers to another page which also contains nudity. Note that I normally wouldn't post this sort of story about nude calendars, but the Girl Gamers aspect led me to decide to mention it.

BTW, I wasn't looking for nude girls in my search. There are two other "nude" stories which I'll mention in another topic that I was looking for. I merely searched the word "nude" under Google News search.

I have a serious question. Does anyone actually think those girls are real gamers? Because they look like very familiar, and I don't mean I have seen them on game sites. Something tells me this is just a thing to get the money of horny men. Give a porn actress a power glove or a game boy and instantly they are a gamer.

Ah, but who's to say that female porn stars can't be gamers?

I mean, we've seen several politicians and actors own up to being gamers. If female porn stars who are gamers want to do a nude calendar, more power to 'em. It may be true that the articles are focusing on the "girl gamer" aspect without pointing out other facts about them, but that's nothing new in advertising either.

As long as they play games, I have no problem with it.

Well, maybe they just rounded up all the models and such, and found twelve of them that were gamers. With games being as prolific as they are today, I'm sure there must be some overlap between the gaming and the nude model communities.

I wouldn't have a problem if they are really gamers but without any info about them, it just looks to be some naked woman wearing a power glove, or a naked woman in knee high socks playing Pokemon Yellow. Honestly this whole "Girl Gamers are Hot" thing is getting out of hand. It has basically made any female who is a gamer look like eye candy. I just feel this is society projecting another "What beautiful is supposed to be" thing into another genre. You want to show a "hot gamer girl" how about all the normal looking females out there who game, not some skinny models.

I'm heterosexual, so my interest in is females. If there were a nude guy gamers calendar, I'd have no problem with it, just wouldn't be interested because, as I say, my interest is in females.

Heck, have a Mr. and Ms. Nude Gamer contest. Heck, having special editions of Playboy and Playgirl with nude gamers wouldn't be a bad thing to me either. Of course, I'd only be interested in the Playboy editions.

But the question would be the same, are the males on the calendar actual gamers or just male models used as eye candy for the females. I don't like the way I look. Not sure if I'd have the personality to do it if I looked average or not. Different reality so I can't be sure.

The number of finds by the search is rather disturbing considering I was limiting it to the News search. A lot of nudity being reported in the news these days.

Besides, I don't need to search for free nudes. I've got either Usenet or my one stop free nudes website I can go to. I even get updates when additional nudes of Favorite actresses/models are added. :)
