So I started it up and have been noticing some things why cant he doge? why cant he strafe(there are no strafe keys to bind),SR2 had allot more polish on it and it still needed more polish 0-o

it has music vol control but not voice volume control.

they really need need to make games more modable that would fix allot of the problems with them sicne the corporations only care abotu the first 3 months of a game life.


I would love for them to remake all the games and use Defiance's engine but with a follow 3rd person cam polish the game play just a bit to make fighting in them all as fast pasted and fun as defiance.


they should have modes as well Easy normal and hard and extrema,extrema makes all human targets water proof they can swim and they can jump out of water but you can range impale anything with staffs and spears,undead you have to do extra amounts of damage to to kill but you can stun them with impale *drool*.

BTW I found dodge......and its like a tank...with a booster rocket on it.

I been playing it for a few hours straight,I have the fact he cant jump back dodge like razial can,he can dodge to the left and right but not to the back,he has to be the most stiff vampire I have ever seen.

Fighting takes some gettign use to and enemies cheating takes some gettign use to,I really wish they would update the adventure style to simi RPG wear you can carry 2 or 3 weapons of your choice and not lose them when you die.


the breakable weapons are rather dimly thought out I can stand still and block with my hands to gain a rage attack yet if I block with my weapon by pressing auto face and block it gets damaged and will break after a few fights,this is a annoy not a gameplay enhancement.

I so miss throwing weapons they could have easily let him toss daggers,swords for instant range kill on most weaker things.....the story is good and all but the game play is weaker than SR/SR2 it might be more diverse but each part of it has less a polish than SR/SR2...if that makes any sense.. LOL

The action heavy gameplay and slow pace make the game to different from the series norm. I do like the story and dialouge.

it is quite nice but the clunky controls hurt it,its almost a 3rd person thief or vamprie themed tunchu nut the controls are very weak,they should have givein him a timed mist forum and inf infanate on mist

the dodging thing is silly backwards dodge is a must and these are lil thigns they could have done this one feels more rushed than the others,but the story make sup for it I guess.


BTW wouldn't you love a BLood Omen Fable style? :3

but mostly I want weapons and armor darmnit!

While I agree that having interchangable weapons and armor would be cool, lets face it zippy, kain is a freaking Immortal vampire with TK abilies and the most powerful sword ever made. Vampires heal wounds almost instantly as long as they got blood. Why needs heavy armore. Besides, it'd interfer with his mist abilities and jumping.

Kain rules as he is. Though having selectible powers like in the first BO and BO 2 would be awesome.

In defiance yes but not in BO 2 ,the crappy controls with the cheap attacks,also look at it this way dpending on the weapon and armor sets he can strengthen and weaken his abilities you don't always need human armor and weapons to add to game play.

Now if BO2 had Defiances game play with the breakable human weapons repalceing the soul reaver perhaps the need for "lil bobbles" would be lessened,I really wish you would keep your weapon all the time till it breaks or is swapped.

Also if you remake BO 1 or make a game thats in between BO 1 and SR1 the chances of needing a full equipment set rises.

Frankly I like the all the different things each weapon brings,I really think they should have went a bit more with SR1 added a arn shield since these things like to break and be able to carry them and at elast 1 weapon all the time without loseing it when you die or change levels unless the story calls for it.

I forgot to mention that vampires have a draining HP system because of it one can simply run out of HP.

Plus I think finding vampire items and weapons ocainaly makes more sense than the chests do,so a basic equipment set up is not bad,even a basic holding onto weapons and unbreakable weapons would add to BO2,of if he could auto face and block unarmed with a weapon that would be helpful since he can block without using the weapon.

I really miss tossing weapons and making a range kill/stun.

Weapons aside a better skill ladder setup would help not to mention MP,with MP you could stalk in mist form a bit more than just being forced to have it now and then even using block to gain MP to use with mist would not be bad,it would be neat if he could combine jump and a weapon to do more damage and instant kills with swords/axes.


I hope the next game will be more a 3rd person than a DMC clone,keeping the core of the game play but returning a couple adventure elements would make the game shine,if they start off from where defiance ended they will need to have enough room for him to gain more power,refining the power he has would be a nice way to do it
(better TK choke,pull,TK fire ball,mind control/baffle (coem on he is basically a dark jedi :P) add crazy element modes of the reaver that consume magic, you'll be fighting humans and Hyldan,one could make the hyldan tougher and the humans merely a annoyance unless they have anti vampire staffs).

for a game based around a weak kain you could do a GOW thing the blood he drinks goes to lore thats then distro'd into powers and stats
