next gen console all that great??

forgiveness if it's been mentioned but is next-gen consoles all that great?

after seeing ps3, 360, an wii, playing them on hd-{{except wii}}-, i dont see the 'leap' and differences too much. maybe i was young, but I had a ps1 and a 64, and after i saw the first xbox and ps2, there was a world of difference ! More room, more stuff to see, lots more censored sex and violence, but, you know, more of it.
NOW, its like every game so far for the 360 COULD have been made on an older xbx, even gears of ware, toned down graphic-wise of course. so far, no great rpgs, seems like the best so far, final fantasy some roman numeral number latest is on the ps2. Zelda? well, maybe, but still disgusted by wiis last gen graphix. So does anyone know a good game that will REALLY take advantage of the new hardware? in the mean-time,, hammer me some time, cause im sticking with the the older boxes.

You don't see the really REALLY pretty games until nearly the end of a consoles life. Some of the early PS2 games looked like PS1 titles. Now look at Okami, FFXII, Bully, etc.

It takes time and practice to learn how to squeeze the most out of a system.

PS3 to much money to lil game=sux

360 allot better than the PS3 but has hardware issues=meh

Wii price,performance and BWC win,win,win,if you got money get it its a worth while console,if you don't have 300-400 to spend on it wait a year.
