You have forums here with only one post in them. Why don't you consolidate some of these sections?

Because they are brand new. Just like you!

Was that really necessary?

I guess I should answer in my Mod Voice: [cough]

For He who is Gamepolitics decreed there should be certain forums, and the forums came into being, and they were good, sometimes underused but good.
And the forums existed with moderation by the Servants of He who is Gamepolitics to separate discussions into topics relative to the forum's name, to allow the Forumites to choose which discussions they wish to participate in.
And He who shall not be named was regulated to a single thread within Politics & Personalities for it is not worth even naming one such as he outside of that thread. And many Forumites rejoiced for some are obsessed with He who Shall not be named and constant mention of him is annoying.
And it came to pass that Gamepolitics joined forces with the Entertainment Consumers Association.
Seeing the needs of the ECA He who is Gamepolitics created new forums for the ECA, and they were good.
Knowing that Privacy of the ECA He who is Gamepolitics intends to make such forums private, but first must find a way to synchronize ECA membership lists with Gamepolitics Forum users.

[cough] I hope that answers your question, I know it's a bit biblical, but sometimes I find that laying down things like that resolves issues.

Perhaps he means putting the sub forums under a link to keep the main forum page more tidy.

I need to join so I can bring my neo game hating rants to a wider audience :D

No I actually meant merging sections. I don't think any single section is so active that threads would be pressed to the second page if any of them merged.

It's just a thought though.

Actually, not a bad idea. We did a little of this a few weeks back. This morning I combined the Serious Games, Political Games and Healthcare Games forums into one.

not that I nit pick or ahve a brain to nit pick but
"All non-commercial game talk should go here"

this means talking about deaths resulting from MMOs can not be talked about there because they are about commercial games........

Zippy - good point.

That is a pretty broad area of coverage for that forum and I was perhaps trying to be too all-encompassing. So now it's just "newly consolidated"...

;)

Actually you could probably combine General Games Talk with What are you Playing?. Those seem to be kinda redundant..
