Which always makes me chuckle when I hear the argument that the Wii is overpriced, because Nintendo's actually making a profit on the consoles, rather than biting the bullet like the other two developers did and taking a loss on the console hoping to make it up with the game profits.

The real measure is what the marketplace is willing to pay. On ebay, a PS3 20gb just ended at $490. Meanwhile, a Wii ended at $330. O.o

It didn't say which specialty bundle it was, but I bought an Xbox 360 bundle a couple of weekends ago.
Xbox 360 console
Wireless controller
20 Gig HD
Headset/Mic
1 Free month Xbox Live Gold
$399 US$
From Electronics Boutique.
I also bought ESIV: Oblivion and Star Trek Legacy (both used).
The core system was also available for $299 Us$ with just the console and a wired controller.
I talked myself into the one with the HD.
And there were no used/refurbished, otherwise I would have gone that route.

Sony must be going insane...they're lowering their blu-ray player price down to $599. Now, only gamers will be buying PS3s...insane gamers who hate money.

Wait, WHAT? That **** used to be 1000 bucks, about the only incentive to buy a PS3, if you wanted to watch Bluray.
Don't they remember how the PS2 became an initial hit? :S
