*groan*

I only have Wii Sports and Zelda. So far this Zelda title (10 hours in) is promising to be the best Zelda title I've played since Ocarina of Time!

Wii sports is pretty damned good for a "free" game. No complaints here! It was a smart move to package it with the systems as a tech demo / tutorial / party game immediately upon plugging the system in.

I tested the 4x4 racing game at an EB location about a month ago. The controls were pretty solid! I don't know that it would be worth a purchase, but I barely had a chance to play through a single race.

So what do you Wii-fans recommend? Any particularly good racers out there? Is that Golf game decent? How about FPSs? I saw most sites gave Farcry terrible reviews while CoD scored pretty evenly.

Any games that seem to make especially good use of the remote controllers?

Excite Truck. It's part of I guess Nintendo is starting the "Excite" series of racing. The game is fast, the controls are solid, and best of all, it has a star system. The more stars you earn, the better you do. Do well enough and it won't matter what place you take at the end. There are also icons to make your truck indestructible, and some to morph the land or cause natural disasters. It was truly fun.

Panyo golf or whatever, the Techmo one, is really good actually. It's basically a console port of Albatross 18 which is one of my wife's favorite free-to-play PC games.

And it features many characters from Tecmo's stalpe series, Dead or Alive.

The Wii games I have now are: LoZ:TP, Elebits, Warioware:Smooth Moves, and Wii Sports. Zelda is an excellent game, I haven't played a Zelda since the NES days and TP was a great return to the series for me. Wii Sports is fun to play, especially with people new to the Wii, it helps get them acquainted. WarioWare is a lot of fun and easy to play, great party game and even fun to play by yourself. Elebits is a lot of fun, very simple gameplay specifically designed for the Wii-mote. Even though it is simple gameplay, the depth is fairly good. Story mode is a little cheesy, but the other modes add to it.

I look forward to playing Super Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario, along with many others.

Elebits seemed cool, but almost a little too simple for me.

I picked up a racing wheel and NFS:Carbon last night. I must say the graphics are pretty decent (no PS3 or XB360, but good nonetheless), the controls are VERY responsive (especially with that wheel) and the fun factor is definately high!

Granted, I haven't felt particularly challenged yet, but I'm barely even 1 hour into the game. All the races I've done I've been able to beat pretty easily. We'll see how the difficulty scales up as I progress.

(oh, I can't figure out that 'autosculpt' feature in the garage either... it shows me bars that I can slide to increase the size of some of the mod parts, but I can't actually move the indicator on those bars.... is it something I have to unlock in the game itself?)
