Resident Evil: Code Veronica X

Currently playing Resident Evil: Code Veronica X. I'm really enjoying it too. Good old school feel :)

Ah, I played that on the Dreamcast. Unfortunately, I could never complete the game because my dumbass brother left the Fire Extinguisher in the metal detector box on the first island, rather than an item box where it could be collected later. Ah, that was a real team effort. There must have been about 8 people in total who contributed to getting through that game, and he ruins it all with the Fire Extinguisher...

I couldn't get used to the controls when I played this game. It's weird, because the control scheme for RE2 is really similar, but it didn't bother me that much. It seems like a lot of survival horror games have controls like that. Like how no matter what direction you're facing, up always goes forward. It took a long time for me to get comfortable with Silent Hill 3. I guess I just have to play it more.

Sometimes you want the stupid face forward is always forward controls when you play a game with alot of static cam points that change allot having unchanging control on the control pad is not so bad,it should be a choice anyway.

Code Veronica X was actually the first RE game I ever played. I have some good memories of playing this game, it's one of my all time favorites.:D

It was the first one for me, too. RE2 was the second, and I liked that one better, but that's probably because I haven't played Veronica X enough yet. Does Veronica X have crazy weapons like 2 does? The fire and acid grenade launchers were badass.
