Anyone here interested in getting this game? From what I have read on the wikipedia entry for it, it seems like any other MMORPG just Lord of the Rings. The classes you can choose from seem like they are from a Dungeons and Dragons Manual, but I guess I get that feeling just because of the descritions they give for each class. But when I have read the notes from those who are in the beta they say the game while not that original offers alot of content to play through and it reminds of them of WoW. Though I liked the series I doubt I will be getting this game. Anyone else have any opinions on it?

Edit:* http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lord_of_the_Rings_Online:_Shadows_of_Angmar oops forgot to post the wiki article.

You can't play as a Ringwraith...the game has no incentive for me to play!

Eventually there will be a MMO i will play for more then a few months. That MMO wont have these classes that every MMO has. This MMO will be Mutiple Mutiplayer Online games.

Maybe that's because D&D was built using LOTR as a baseline.

Also, Harry Potter seems similar to LOTR....yadda yadda...

To divert things for a moment...

SONG OF FIRE AND ICE...HBO...MINISERIES!

er yeah. But anyways why would I play LOTR unless WoW servers are down? I doubt it will be anywhere near as casual-friendly as WoW, since LOTR fans are dorks of the highest calibur.

WHERE'S DUNE THE MMO?!?!?! I would love to play as a BG rogue or a Fremen Paladin.

I want a true fps MMO. Something that is not as extream as battlegrounds: Euroupe, but not like some of the absurities of games like wolfenstien: ET, were it takes lots and lots of damage to kill the highlevels and they sneeze and kill noobs.

How is that related to a Lord of the Rings MMO?

Bagginsssssss! :D Playing as one of them would rule, would make me want to do nothing but gank the shire all day. Who am I kidding I will do that anyway if I can....****ing hobbits. And if I have to make a hobbit my name is going to be Hodo the Furryfooted Burrower(no steal!)

The game only offers (save for the slightly pointless Monster Mode) the ability to play the forces of good...I needs me some raw evil in my games, otherwise my gloat macros start to look a little silly.
