Ok, this started in the Jack Thompson thread and I decided to move it here before it got too OT.

Anyway, The Sims, one of the greatest selling PC games of all time, and it was something anyone could get into. Not to mention it's a game that sounds dumb then described, but when you play it, it just, sucks you in, you get a few skills up and you just want to keep going, and the addons ,the glorious and sometimes not so glorious addons.

Anyway, discuss, and if you can ,share some of your favorite sites and files so that us other simophile and indulge in some goodness.

I hate to derail your thread... especially on such a bizarre tangent, but my mom swears that the song "Come On" by Steadman (from The Sims 2: Universty) contains a refrain that repeatedly says the Spanish word for... er... pee-pee... in it. I told her that Maxis would get in trouble over this, but she insists that it's a Cuban slang so most people in the States wouldn't get it.

Given that it took my mom listened to half of one of the cha-cha songs before she finally realized the singers weren't using Spanish, I'd say that my mom has it wrong, but are there any Cubans here that can clear this up?

That's one of the strange thing about the language used in the game, the "simlish" makes it sound liek they, well, say stuff when saying nothing in particular.
