I hate it when a company cuts cornerers in thier games.

NWN 2 is a great showing of that, as its clearly seen in almost everything you see.

They took biowares work and 'redid' it. Sure they applied newer prettier graphics, but almost every part of the game is exactly like biowares version, even as far as going to where Tensers Transformation, transforms you. (I know that sounds weird) In stead of Augmenting you into a fighter.

Then of course several objects are only made for one side, in other words, if you look at a tresure chest it is missing the bottom. Sure its usually not a problem, unless you want to use the model to be burried on its side in the sand.

But lately, I'm begining to think they even took stuff from DDO (icons) and put those in thier game.

Is there any other games out there that are so blatently corner cut?

Duke Nukem Forever.

Surely, if developers are able to produce a single ingame screenshot after ten years, some serious corners have been cut. This will not do.

They aren't using a different engine. They are using the heavily modified Unreal 2 engine. Called the Duke engine.

looks to be a updated karma engine.

Unrela 1 was great and took 6 or so years to do,I hope DNF is half as good anything better than Q4 D3 or even UT04 would make it worth 50 to me.

I will never buy another Treyarch game. From the lackluster COD 3 to the most recent Spiderman 3. I'm playing through Spiderman 3 right now( just a rental thank heavens), and there are so many bugs that you can't hardly play it. At one point, I had to restart the game because I got stuck in a wall. Twice when wall-crawling, Spiderman was crawling backwards with his back to the wall and his legs in empty air. It's the most broken game I've played since the NES.
