Currently playing the new legend of zelda, And while im impressed im also disappointed...

Every time i come up to a boss after the first one, They never hit me once. The minibosses are only a little bit harder then the bosses to me.

Infact i only think i'ved died like twice, usually from a mini-game battle or just me being stupid.

I remember back when you had the super nintendo zelda and almost all the bosses gave you a run for your money. Never played much of the rest between, Other then windwaker.

Please say that the bosses get at least a little bit harder were ill start cursing and getting mad at them.

Unfortunately, non of the bosses are particularly difficult in Twilight Princess.
While it is a good game, it has many flaws.

Or it may just be that they were originally designed with a Gamecube controller in mind...

I am using a game cube though...

Actually the forth boss finally hit me again, mainly becuase it wasnt much like a normal boss battle, but a boss battle mini game.

For me I have been hit most of the time by the usual enemies, I have died once but that was because I wanted to see how far down into the Lake without the Zora armor before I drowned, pretty far I must say. Now only one boss has hit me and that was the Zora Temple boss, but to anyone who has played the Legend of Zelda series you already know what to do. The dungeons always seem to hold the same premis and what not, the end bosses always seem to be predicable thus making the killing that much easier. Now don't get me wrong I love the game, I am using the gamecube because I didn't want to drop 250 for one game right now.

Other problems I have with the game:
SPOILERS

Lack of depth in many characters (which is why Majora is my favorite Zelda game)

Almost useless items once outside their dungeon (i.e. Spinner, Dominion Rod, Gale Boomerang, Double Clawshots)

Not much difficulty (need to put in a difficulty option) I should not be taking only 1 or 2 heart container damage from the final ****ing boss

You get the biggest wallet by collecting all the bugs (I did it at the end of the game)

Lack of sidequests (once again, Majora=favorite)

The freedom fighters (or whatever they are called) hardly did anything in the story

Yeah, that’s probably it. After so long of playing Zelda games, you begin to know that in order to defeat the enemies, you need to use the treasure you find in that dungeon, there’s no more guessing on it like the older zelda’s were sometimes a boss would need the weapon in the dungeon, then switch to a different item needed to defeat it. Like one that needed the hammer, then switched to arrows.

I would not say that OOT and MM had some nasty bosses some harder than others it seems TWP is easier than WW,so I guess the best way to play it is to skip hearts and don't get the better armor *L*

I have been pretty much skipping hearts, as in i dont go searching for every last one i can. If i just so happen to come across something intresting, ill take a look, and if it is a heart so be it.

I dont even think i need the super armor for this one... Fought the boss in the time temple and while he did hit me a few times, I nearly killed my self with the statue wand thing

more like the game was made effortlessly, meaning it was made for kids and they didn't try to make it harder than normal or for skilled players.

I'll give Zelda twp a pass on how I look at where the WII is going, however Metroid prime 3 and Mario Uni will be the stepping stones of tomorrow,if they suck nintendo is dead to me.

Well i beat it already.

There should have been more bosses like the last two.. and i was disappointed slightly in the ending.

I think the game plays beautifully, makes excellent use of the Wii control scheme and can be challenging too! No, it's not particularly challenging in the 'Oh crap, this boss is kicking my butt' department, but the puzzles remain challenging and it definately forces you to think outside the box.
I think we all tend to remember Zelda games being more challenging because we were not so accustomed to that type of game back in the day. Now, after so many forays into the land of Hyrule, we sort of know what the formula is and we're all pretty-much able to glide through it.
