My encounters with SA-MP

With the new article about playing San Andreas online and mentioning the San Andreas Multiplayer program (SA-MP) I had downloaded the program and tried it out myself. I wanted to voice my opinion about the program.

Orginally I tried posting this to the artcle on the main page. but couldnt get past the spam filter. I have already left a post to Dennis about it.

While I like playing great games like San Andreas online using sa-mp Many encounters I have had with other players use hacks to cheat. I cannot kill those players becuase they zip around faster then the eye can see. They can outrun cars planes and boats. Sometimes they can kill you before you can get a chance to think. let alone get to a vechicle.

Some are some players who have servers that get upset if you are not one of the mods and you drive certin cars and go certin places. One banned me becuase I was driving a police car and would not give it up.
Which is bull****.

It's players like that spoil the fun of a online GTA for me.

Actually its not just online GTA that they spoil.. Its pretty much any online game.

Theres a game called Hidden, in which a guy complains about almost everything in the game, doing any of which will get you kick/banned on his server. Basicly the game has an nearly invisable vampire vs a bunch of guys with guns and other toys. The guy bans you for making use of the sonic alarms, camping (basicly if you are not always running laps around the level you are camping) using the most powerful attack for the hidden.

Mean while you have others who will mess with direct X settings so they can glitch the texture on the hidden, making a nearly invisable guy look like a black shadow, ect.

I feel these players should rot... the ones who will do anything to 'win' (beyond of course what the developers origanally allowed...)

Bitching about stuff included in the game is always retarded. Such as rocket haters in MOH:AA. Even though it takes almost ten seconds to reload with your ass flapping in the wind. But it's fun sniping with the Sturmgewehr 44. A single headshot burst kills.

I miss the time where someone would run up to you and say "JESUS CHRIST IT'S A LION", and then you'd be like "GET IN THE CAR', and you'd both get in a car and drive off a cliff.

Ya, they do ruin any online game. Damned griefers. In Turf Battles, a free MMO my brother plays, Korean and Chinese gold farmers, and I'm not beign racist her,e hack the game so they can player kill with no duel acceptance, and famr gold all the time, and the admins and GMs aren't any better, as if you complain about a problem in the game or talk about anothero nline game, your ass is banned.

It is really bad in FFXI right now, even with the mass bannings of RMT they still are out there, they are like cockroaches, kill one 5 more take it's place. And they are cocky little ****s now naming characters Buymygil and **** like that, because they know they cannot be kicked because of a name. The game is over poplulated with them and hell if you are in an area where they are farming and you are trying ot farm a few items yourself say hello to a GM call. I have been close to being banned 6 times now because of fake harassment claims from them, every time I have saved my ass point out the /tells I have gotten from them such as "Leave Now, or GM Call {You can have it}" or "{Kick} if you not leave" and a ton of really bad broken english ones.

Note* the words in the {} are the auto translator that FFXI has installed to make different cultures communicate with eachother better....but it has failed and it used for very bad jokes now.

I always thought multiplayer GTA was easily simulatable (simulable?) by playing regular GTA and turning on the cheats for "Pedestrians Riot" and "Pedestrians Have Weapons"

Nah, Add in the Lock wanted level cheat and then call it "San Andreas Survivor."

Vice City was superior for multiplayer.
